Urban Ecological Park

The Urban Ecological Park constitutes a revitalized space, usually considered as a marshland/swamp area, due to the existence of a water accumulation, which level floats according to the tides. By the adjacent area is located a building where it is installed the Environmental Interpretative and Monitoring Centre of Viana do Castelo(CMIA). Here one may observe the “Dom Prior”’ Watermill; a mill erected in early XIX century and operating thanks to the tides.
