Fraga da Bica rock art

Various motifs are incised on this vertical rock wall, measuring approximately 6 m in width and 5 in height. The motifs are essentially cruciform in shape, often overlapping, some ending with rectangles in low relief while others are surrounded by circles.
It is probable that some of these cruciform motifs are stylized human figures. The partial decals published by João Paulo Baptista and Ivone Baptista de Magalhães in 1985 also portray a cruciform with an arched base, an anthropomorphic figure which apparently represents the male sex.

The outcrop is quite worn out in certain places, so some of the engravings risk being lost forever.
